Who grants this licence

Your licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to install and use ZXN Studio on compatible Macs for lawful personal, professional and commercial creative work. The licence starts when you download or use the application and continues while you comply with this agreement and have any required paid entitlement.

You keep ownership of your footage, projects and exported work. This licence does not give us ownership of your content.

Two connected devices

One account may have no more than two Macs connected to ZXN Studio at the same time. You may replace a Mac by signing in to your account at zxn.studio, remotely revoking the old device, and then connecting the new one.

Revocation ends that device’s online entitlement immediately. A previously issued offline entitlement may continue only until its signed expiry time. Do not share account credentials or device tokens with anyone else.

Plans and updates

The free plan provides the features described on our current pricing page. Monthly and lifetime purchases unlock the same paid Studio feature set. A monthly entitlement depends on an active or still-current paid period. Lifetime access has no recurring charge, but a full refund, chargeback or reversal ends that paid entitlement.

We may provide security fixes, compatibility changes, improvements and new features. We may change or retire features where reasonably needed for security, compatibility, law or continued operation. “Lifetime” describes the duration of the purchased entitlement under this agreement; it does not promise that every feature or third-party service will remain available forever.

What you may not do

You may not copy or redistribute the application, resell or sublicense it, make it available as a competing hosted or packaged product, bypass its security or licensing controls, or reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.

Open-source components remain governed by their own licence notices. Those licences apply to the relevant components without changing the licence for ZXN Studio’s proprietary code.

Local work and optional services

ZXN Studio normally keeps source footage and project files on your Mac. Optional AI assistance and other connected features may use a third-party or local service you choose. Those services may require a separate account, model download, agreement or payment and remain subject to their own terms.

Keep backups of important media and projects. Software may contain defects and may not work with every file, Mac or workflow; check the published system requirements before relying on it.

Ending the licence

You may stop using and uninstall ZXN Studio at any time. We may suspend or end access where required by law, after a payment is refunded or reversed, to protect the service from fraud or security abuse, or for a material breach of this agreement. Where appropriate, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy a breach.

Liability and law

Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss.

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also retain the mandatory protections and courts available where you live. Our Website and Service Terms, Privacy Notice and Refund Policy also apply where relevant.
